ViDrive Web respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we handle and why. Last updated: 14 August 2026.
Data stored on your device
ViDrive Web does not require an account and does not collect personal data on our servers. Your theme preference, language, and saved comparison history are stored locally in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage) and never leave your device unless you choose to share them.
Data retention
Saved comparison history is stored in sessionStorage, which is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab. Preferences saved to localStorage (e.g., dismissed banners, theme choice) persist until you clear them manually. No personal data is stored on our servers.
Cookies and similar technologies
ViDrive Web does not set any cookies for tracking or advertising. We may use localStorage and sessionStorage to save your preferences (theme, language, saved comparisons) entirely on your device. These are not shared with any third party.
Fonts
ViDrive Web loads the Space Grotesk and DM Sans fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). These requests go to Google’s servers and may be subject to Google’s privacy policy. We are considering self-hosting these fonts in a future release to keep all asset requests within this site.

Your rights
Because ViDrive Web stores no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete or export. You can clear all locally stored data at any time simply by closing the browser.
