VinFast runs a buy-back commitment for some models, setting a liquidity floor in the first three years — usually around 70% of list price, then declining along the market depreciation curve.
That means: if the used-car market price falls below that floor, you can still sell back to the maker at the committed price. It limits depreciation risk, but it does not mean the open-market price is always high.
In the TCO tool, ViDrive shows both the expected market price and the buy-back value (where available) so you can compare transparently.
